Be prepared for a hot start to the school week! Bring your clear water bottle so you can refill at our bottle filling stations. Don't leave your chromebook or other electronics out in a hot car all day!




The Toppers Golf Team had a busy first week starting with a 9-hole match at The Rail GC on Monday. Aaron Kuznik led the Toppers with a score of 45.
Five players then competed in the 18-hole Lincoln Scramble on Thursday. The team shot an even-par 71 highlighted by three birdies on the day. The first birdie came on the par 5 10th-hole using Deegan Tschantz drive, Carter Clark's 2nd shot, Aaron K's shot to the green, and Franklin Wade sinking the 15' putt. The second birdie was all Franklin W on the par 3 13th-hole as he stuck his 145-yard shot 18 inches from the hole and sank the putt. The third birdie came on the par 3 15-hole with Aaron K hitting a great shot to 15' and Clay Leonard rolling in the putt.
On Friday, the Toppers competed in the 18-hole Meridian Invitational with Carter Clark leading the way with a personal best score of 89. Franklin, Aaron, and Clay all had scores in the 90's.
The Toppers finished the week with another 18-hole tournament at Greenview with Franklin and Aaron both shooting in the 80's for the first time this season with 87 and 88, respectively.
Kai Selinger and Tyler Lowe played in their first matches as MP Toppers!
The team will be back in action September 3rd at Shelbyville.

With school starting this week, it's important we take a moment to thank our summer custodial staff for all of their hard work this summer. Keeping up with the messes during construction - it has been daunting! They have powered through and done a great job! We look forward to welcoming staff tomorrow and students for the first day of school on Wednesday. Thanks again, to our custodial staff!
