Carter Clark, son of Gale and Michele Clark, has been named September-Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School.
Carter has stayed actively involved in numerous extracurricular activities during his time at MPHS. He has participated in Academic Challenge, FFA, Golf, Baseball, and Track for 4 years; Science Olympiad for 3 years; NHS, Student Council, and SACC for 2 years.
He is a member of the Livestock and Meats Evaluation, placing twice during high school. He also made the 2nd team all-conference for baseball, earning an honorable mention his sophomore year. He was all-conference in Track and a 2026 state qualifier in Discuss.
Outside of school, Carter plays travel baseball and is the lead singer of the band 72. In terms of community service, Carter has helped with Day of Service, FFA Dinners, NHS Chicken Dinner, Christmas on Vinegar Hill, Elkhart Pond Renovation, Landscaping, and MPAA work at Frazier Park.
Carter plans to either get his Bachelor’s degree and then go into the military, or pursue a degree in education.
