Luke Martin, son of Doug and Erin Martin, has been named March-Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School.

 During his time at MPHS, Luke participated in Baseball and FFA for 4 years. He also played Basketball for 2 years, and was named SJR Athlete of the Week.

 

Luke was named to the First Team All-Conference in Baseball his Sophomore and Junior year. He also was awarded First Overall Section 14 FFA Ag Sales his Sophomore year. Luke has also consistently been on the honor roll at MPHS.

Luke had an internship with Front Line Ag during the summer of 2025, he also works on his family farm, Martin Family Farms. He has helped in the community as well with food drives, serving dinners for FFA, cleaning the tennis courts, as well as laying mulch and planting flowers.

He plans to attend Heartland Community College in the fall and earn a degree in Ag Business, while also playing on the school’s Baseball team.

 The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by the Mount Pulaski Education Association and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
