Honeybear Basketball starts this coming Monday! 5th - 8th grade students wishing to participate this season will need to meet Mr. A, Coach Brown, and Coach Miller in the multipurpose room at MPHS from 4:00 - 5:00 next Monday through Thursday. All participants will need a mask, have a water bottle, and wear their PE shoes. All current volleyball athletes that also want to play basketball are excused until their season has concluded. We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday today in KA and are enjoying our dress up days all week for Read Across America.

Students in KA celebrated 100 days of school in February! We dressed like we were 100 years old or decorated a fun shirt.

2nd graders learned how to draw The Cat in the Hat this week!





1A has been working with recycling! We categorized pictures into what we thought was the best category. Reduce, reuse, recycle, or replace. They had fun discussing this topic with their friends and teaching each other the importance of recycling!





Student Council meeting today has been cancelled due to no internet at the school and in the area. Mrs. Varvel will let students know when it will be rescheduled.

Our phone lines and internet service are down district-wide. At this time, we do not have an estimate as to when they will be up and running again.
