At Wednesday's school board meeting, Mt. Pulaski CUSD 23 voted to hire Joel Washko as the District's Activities Director. Mr. Washko began his career in Mt. Pulaski in 2014 as the Head Coach of the MPHS Baseball team. Then in 2015, he joined the staff at Mt. Pulaski Grade School as Social Studies teacher.
In 2024, Mr. Washko became the Dean of Students at Lincoln Community High School.
